Right from my first phone call I felt like nexus care services really cared about what I needed for my mum. Everything was explained and fees etc easy to understand and no hidden fees. Having the rotas emailed is reassuring to see someone is def going. The carer who went to my mum was lovely and reassured my mum who is normally very anxious and down when I'm away. I rang her that evening and she was happy and telling me all about what the carer did. We feel very happy to have found a care service that's reliable and genuinely cares about there clients.

Nexus Care have looked after my Dad as if he were there own family. All the carers chat with him and have got to know him so he feels comfortable with them in his home. They are able to help with all his needs including laundry, ironing and shopping. Its great that I get to be his daughter again and not his carer which means we get to spend quality time together. Having been away recently for some time travelling I can honestly say I didn't worry at all about him at all because they were able to take him to doctors appointments and help him with shopping too. I never knew care could be this good.

My father has moved into a home now that his dementia is severe but for 2 years he was a very happy client of Nexus. Sam was able to set things up with only a couple of days notice and although it took a while for a core team of carers to be put in place, but then it was great knowing that he was seeing the same warm faces each day and that they knew what to expect on their visit. Twists and turns were taken in their stride - from adding extra visits at short notice for medical needs, accompanying for medical appointments etc. Information was always shared with the family and ideas given where needed. I couldn't recommend Sam and his team at nexus more highly.

If there are any issues or anything to add onto care plans I have a point of contact and the communication has been brilliant! Thank you so much so far with everything!

When Mum was unexpectedly discharged from hospital into a Care Home after a stroke, we needed to quickly set up a care package so she could come home. We were lucky enough to be referred to Nexus who promptly came out to discuss our requirements, a plan was put in place and Mum was able to come home, where she wanted to be. That was nearly 6 years ago! In that time, Nexus has considerably grown as a company but the level of care continues to be of the highest standard. The office staff and carers are friendly, professional and flexible, nothing is too much trouble. During the recent bad weather, when many people had the opportunity to work from home, the carers didn't let their client's down and soldiered on in the snow. We cannot recommend Nexus more highly!
